Seattle, WA— January 10, 2017 – Today, YouScript became the newest member of the National Association of ACOs (NAACOS) Business Partnership, a group of 101 businesses, organizations and vendors working to create tools that help Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) work together to increase quality of care, lower costs, and improve the health of their communities.
YouScript is excited to join a group of providers and administrators equally committed to achieving the triple aim. “Our mission to eliminate avoidable adverse drug events with actionable precision medicine aligns with the NAACOS goals,” said YouScript CEO Kristine Ashcraft. “YouScript software and analytics has been shown to prevent one ER visit for every nine high-risk patients identified and one hospitalization for every 16; this business partnership will bring awareness of the immediate clinical and financial benefits of enabling precision medication decisions to the top national Accountable Care Organizations.”
NAACOS is a 501 501 (c) 6 non-profit organization dedicated to fostering growth of ACOs, educating member organizations in best practices, and advocating on their behalf to Congress. NAACOS also provide Business and Alliance Partners exclusive opportunities to attend and exhibit at NAACOS’ conferences. Additionally, NAACOS partners receive valuable tools and resources to help them better engage the ACO community.
NAACOS’ goals include:
- Foster growth of ACO models of care;
- Participate with Federal Agencies in development & implementation of public policy;
- Provide industry-wide uniformity on quality and performance measures;
- Educate members in clinical and operational best practices;
- Collectively engage the vendor community, and
- Educate the public about the value of accountable care.
